Literature

The Literature section of English Online is a rapidly growing archive of in-depth materials, treating each author comprehensively, and offering well-researched links to resources already existing on the World Wide Web. The navigation panel on the right should help you find your way around.

Our teaching materials section includes more general resources on teaching literature. It includes a unit on using ICT to study a novel, a comprehensive survey of the riches available to support literature teaching on the Web, with numerous links and illustrated by specific ideas for studying Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Our innovative Fridge Magnets offer an exciting interactive tool for experimenting with poetry.

The Set Text Forum allows you to discuss with colleagues any suggestions you may have about a text that appears on your syllabus. Feel free to leave a message or ask a question and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

If your school has Literature resources that you feel might be valuable for the whole teaching community, please get in touch. We would be glad to discuss making them available on English Online.
