Fridge Magnets
In this section of English Online you can experiment with a set of electronic 'fridge magnets'. The words become mobile tiles and can be moved on the screen to any position. Phrases can be linked together so that a wide range of sequencing activities can be constructed.
Like some real fridge magnets, you can turn words over to find alternatives - but as this is electronic we can store more than two! Just look for the tiles not coloured yellow, click on them and press the space bar. In the version on the members' site, Fridge Magnets can even be edited - by clicking on the tile you can delete the existing text and enter your own - even when you flip the tile, the words are still there.
